I have been painting since before I can remember. Art has always been something that grounds me and brings me joy. Whether I bring paint and a brush on a river trip, a long hike or I just sit down and make a bigger project it has allowed me to get out of my head and be preset with creativity.

I know the phrase “I gain inspiration from the wilderness” is cliche but it truly does! There is nothing I love more than to paint flowers I find on a riverbank. Or of a bird or fish I see while floating down a river.

So combining all that I love- rivers, blooms of wildflowers and watercolors and I am in my happy place.
